If they are serious about this, they should remember why the old Nigeria Airways failed The old Nigeria airways failed because it was a subsidized airline. From 1970-79, it basically ran for cheap. When oil prices crashed in 1982, that's when the free government money began to run out, and the airline crashed eventually by 2001. If you want a good flag airline, let it run at market price. Charge the actual price of a ticket, not 'people's price'. Charge the actual price of excess luggage, not cheap prices. Don't let corruption near it. We cannot afford another failure. 1 Like |
