AN ABRIDGED KEYNOTE ADDRESS PRESENTED BY DR KOPIMO EZEKIEL, THE ZONAL COORDINATOR SOUTH SOUTH, NIGERIA ,DURING A ZONAL TOWN HALL MEETING HELD IN PORT HARCOURT, 20TH NOVEMBER 2021.

On behalf of the entire South South geo political, we welcome you to this very important TOWN HALL MEETING held here in Port Harcourt. However you have boldly decided to take the driver's seat of your future by allowing this programme to be your priority today. This meeting is organised at the instance of Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN) for short. Specifically, we have converge here to sharpen our bridge building process because we are blessed to have a leader in the person of Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, our amiable Minister of Transportation in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is a detribalised leader and leader of the APC in the South South region, with capacity and dexterity.
This meeting among other issues, will help us to x - ray the roles and achievements of Rt. Hon. Amaechi as Minister of Transportation. It might interest you to know that our leader has over the years distinguished himself in different leadership positions as a speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly for 8 years, as a Governor of Rivers State for 8 years and currently as a Minister of the Federal Republic. You will agree me that he is a man of grace with experience. He is a people oriented leader. As an APC group, we intend to build bridges of trust and loyalty across Nigeria to ensure that our leader will emerge as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023. As a group that is well rooted across the six geo political zones of Nigeria, South South zone is only taking its turn, while other zones will also take their turn in the days ahead.
