its called LIFE and as much as two people can love each other to death one day, it may/could fade away til the point of hating one another. as hard as it may be, you should praise them for the time that they've spent together as a happy family, and wish them a happy separated life.

better two separated parents that are at peace with themselves than two married parents that hate each other and stay together (and are MISERABLE) solely for the kids sake.
