In recent times, Nigeria has celebrated leaders and law makers with extraordinary achievement and legacies through effective reforms and people oriented policies via the the state house of Assembly and National assembly.
Ondo state is made up of 18 local government areas, located in the Southwestern zone of Nigeria. Bounded in the north by Ekiti and Kogi state, In the east by Edo State, in the West by Osun and Ogun, in the south by Atlantic ocean.
According to the National Population Census of 2006,
The Total Population of Ondo State - 3,460,877.
Male - 1,745,057.
Female - 1,715,820.

The Ondo State House of Assembly is the Legislative arm of the Ondo State Government which is responsible for effective and equitable law making process and policies that are responsible for human capital development, security, infrastructural development, good healthcare, education, Sustanaible development goals, Agriculture and peaceful coexistence among the indigenes and inhabitants of the state, who are predominantly Yoruba, namely;
Akoko, Ikale, Ondo, Owo, Akure, Ijaw, Apoi, Idanre, Ilaje e.t.c
The state legislature structure is currently made up of 26 Representatives across the Constituencies that made up the political and Geo political sphere of Ondo. The principal officers led by Hon. Bamidele D. Oleyelogun as the Speaker and Hon. Aderoboye Samuel A. as the deputy speaker.
Hon. Oluwole E. Ogunmolasuyi (The majority leader), Hon. Oladiyi Adesanmi (Deputy majority leader) & Hon. Mohammed T. Oladele (Chief whip)

The house leadership in recent times have been enjoining the people's support for their productive and people oriented legislative process and bills that seeks to provide conducive environment for Investors (Foreign Direct Investment) and encourage local producers & communities without fear of terrorist masquerading as herders and kidnappers destroying people's means of livelihood and crops.

Ever since Hon. Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi received the baton of leadership From the Hon. Jamiu Sulaiman Maito as a majority leader of the house, he has deem it fit to unite the house as a majority leader, across party and religious lines.
With the glaring facts of the Federal Government of Nigeria led politics of banditry and Boko Haram sympathizing, Hon. Emmanuel was vocal during the passage of the bill establishing Amotekun corps and staunch believer in the state and community policing system in a federation structure like Nigeria. The breach in the border especially the porous border of northern Nigeria where custom officers and border community are reporting cross border invasion by fulani herders with AK 47 and RPG from Niger, Mali, CAR, Chad, Guinea, Somalia and other Iswap fighters.

Hon. Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi (West) who hails from Owo local government in Ondo state, is an icon of positive change and progressive Politics of national development.

Amb. Prince Samuel Adesegun Egunjobi who hails from the same local government told newsmen in Lagos when asked who are his role model in Ondo State politics, he mentioned Hon. Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi and the State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu for their commitment to positive growth, human capital development, infrastructural development, women empowerment and the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Ondo state, Southwest, Niger Delta and Nigeria in general.
