Why Are Aba's Roads Perpetually In A Dilapidated State? by Onyiiobi7735(m): 6:41am On Dec 06, 2021
Whenever I am traveling from Awka to Rivers, and back,I pass with Konti transport through Aba .
The roads there are very terribly dilapidated, filled with potholes, dirt and muddy pools of water, oozing oozing offensive odour.
And to worsen things, the traffic jam there is not of this world.
And I wonder, upon all the revenue, Abia generates, why is it those roads cannot be repaired .
Abia state is a wealthy one, having world famous shoe making industries and flourishing markets, and also oil wells, yet the mystery remains.
Why is it Aba roads are never in the agenda of the state's politicians for repairs and maintenance.
What's wrong with the state and its government?
