SlyDev: Unemployment rate in Nigeria is 33%. A country that does not know it's true population, that does not know who is gainfully employed or not, that does not know how many jobs are created monthly and how many are lost is calculating unemployment rate for dummies like the op. 14 Likes 1 Share |

SlyDev: What do you expect. They always come online and claim to the Billionaires, but in reality they have nothing. Their Region is barren, that's why they contribute ZERO to the Economy. They are being spoon fed by the North and West. Without Nigeria, those guys will be the worst in this entire World. 6 Likes

The person that posted this is being mischievous. What he will not tell you is that Nigeria recently changed its unemployment benchmarking. If you look at the attached snapshots gotten from Statista, you will find that using the internationally recognized model, there is no way South East is the region with prevalent unemployment rate. Don’t take my world for it. Visit it yourself. Source: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1119533/unemployment-rate-in-nigeria-by-state/ 1 Like

Quite surprising, one would expect regions with highest population to have a higher incidence of unemployment but it seems the reverse is the case! 1 Like |
