MR/MISS DAKKADA PAGEANT GETS STATE GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT

Earlier today December 7, 2021, The Akwa Ibom State Government through the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Orman Esin endorsed the Mr/Miss Dakkada Pageant brand.

The Mr/Miss Dakkada Pageant Team paid a courtesy visit to the Akwa Ibom Culture and Tourism boss.

The visit which took place at The Information Center, Chritmas Village, was to commend the Akwa Ibom Government for the giant strides in the tourism industry as evidence in the popular Christmas Village, and to also intimate him of the plans for the epoch-making Dakkada BeautyPageant.

Commissioner for Tourism Orman Esin received the team with joy, and applauded the MMDBP Team for the idea behind the Dakkada pageant project, saying "it is line with the vision of His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel.

He pledged government support to the Pageant, as he said "it will provide the platform for exploration of talents in the State."

Speaking onbehalf of the team, Victor Paul Unoh said The Mr/Miss Dakkada pageant is a stage pageant that is aimed at propagating the Dakkada philosophy.

He reiterated that the Dakkada Pageant is a platform that is out to raise beauty queens who will champion women emancipation and groom young leaders and will also empower contestants by equipping them with business skills using proven business model.

Other crew members who were at the visit includes the Pageant Director, Mr. Churchill Godwin, Catwalk Instructor Mr. Chidi, Camp Manager (Female) Miss Judith Richards , Director of Protocol, Emmanuel Uyoh and the Life Coach, Veronica Ustine.
