We were met with numerous challenges which included:
Very terrible road network
Hostility against workers by the youths.
Delays as a result of different groups coming for settlements every single minute.
And worst of all, a very porous soil(the tranches keeps collapsing on excavation).
But after everything, we pushed ahead.
Day 1 began with the setting out using 3,4,5 method (easy, fast, and accurate) after which excavation began immediately.

And then came the mounting of columns and the footing of the strips...
Note: we have columns on only the areas that will bear the pent floor and few of the edges.

Hello everyone......glad to be here a gain.....so sorry I couldn't keep up with the update because of time factor...have been soo very busy..
Am happy to inform you that this job is 95% completed....And I will be using this little opportunity to finish the update from our archive....good day!

Pent floor formation after deck concreting

Then We got to the lintel stage of the the pent floor and started the installation of the ground floor fascia( we used precast concrete fascia)
NB: I use precast concrete fascia only on cases where I presume the the it's a bit too complex for the carpenter to give me a clean formwork...

And after the penthouse lintel and leveling, we proceeded with the full fascia installation.

Then we completed and polished the concrete fascia and geared up for roof framework

And then came the roofing stage

The kingpost was located and the dropping of the hips began and gradually it started taking shape

Finally came the installation of the roofing sheets and outside plastering.....No be rocket science
