Providing safe environments for the long-term engagement of youth is the foundation of every successful positive youth development program and progressive societies devoid of social vices such as cultism, drug abuse, cyber crime, human trafficking and others.

The cornerstone of effective community capacity building is the active involvement and ownership of local citizens in planning, decision-making, and efforts to enhance local well-being, infrastructural development, security, human capital development and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Achieving this capacity in Nigeria will help ensuring stable governance, social justice, gender equity, sustainable livelihoods, social inclusion, and educational equity for citizens of all ages, but especially young people.

Neglecting of youths and failure of government to provide necessary social amenities to encourage capacity building in Youth has contributed to banditry and terrorism in Nigeria.

Education as a tool has proven to be an effective tool in building the youth mentally, psychologically, emotionally and physically.

The free education foundation laid by the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo in old western Nigeria (modern day Southwest Nigeria) gave the Yoruba nation the development and progressive growth the region is enjoying today, Which is a major attraction for foreign Direct Investment and peace the region have enjoyed for many years.- Prince Samuel Adesegun Egunjobi
