Nigeria's security situation is terrible and I for once desired to hustle enough to travel out. Travelling out might take some time to settle and could possibly need enough cash or possibly be a waste of money - this can even be used to start up a business in the country.

I believe that there are areas in the country that is peaceful and more economical favourable to live in despite the country's hurdle. In this vain, which of the state (street and area in specific) in Nigeria is best based on the following:

1. Security: This area should be the one with street light, security patrols, vigilante e.t.c.

2. Light: The place should have an average of 15-20 hours electricity per day.

3. Civilisation: I'm talking about society organization. Does it have a head like regional government? Is everyone the oga? What's their track record of keeping the land and people safe? Is it culturally vibrant?

4. Cost of Living: what's the cost of feeding, accomodation, groceries, clothes, and so on? Are they cheap?

5. Nature of State Government and ease of doing business: Is the government of the said state a one-way party operated? How developed and beautiful is the state? Is it a good place to invest?


Please give your answers based on these 5 metrics.....

Please exclude borno State and possibly any northern state. The west have amotekun which is a organized security unit so let's start from there. Even the east is now a war zone

Thank you brother. I believe that Nigeria still have some spots with civilized people, stable electricity, security patrols, reasonable Cost of living and average good governance. I've been considering osogbo, Osun. Does it meet the 5 pointers?

Oyo state. Yes I said Oyo. I would have mentioned Lagos but the cost of living in Lagos is high(the state is actually working towards making it a place for the middle-class and upper-class). But having light for 15-20 hours will depend on here you stay. If you stay in places like Jericho, Challenge you may enjoy this benefit.

Is Jericho a town in Oyo State? You said challenge. Is the cost of housing high? Does the area have security patrols? How many hours of light can one get per day? Please enlighten me more...
