Yemi OSINBAJO: The Quintessential face of this Administration!

Looks could be deceptive, no doubt. But, some carries the grace and mien evidently from outward looks.
Prof. Yemi OSINBAJO, the soft-spoken, intelligent and articulate VP is, evidently the de-facto face of this administration, and has richly demonstrated so at different times.
Whenever his Excellency represents his principal, or attends function, he awed guests, leaving them in a state of wonderment as to his degree of intelligent. I was privileged to attend the 59th birthday celebration of His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, ex Imo governor and a Senator, at the international conference center, Abuja.

His Excellency, Prof OSINBAJO was Special guest. When it was time for his remarks, he captured and mentioned all of Sen. Okorocha's children in his opening speech suavely and intelligently which left the former Imo First lady evidently dazed, speechless and close to tears.

In most time Prof OSINBAJO held sway, either in acting capacity or VP, he seems to have a natural proclivity with anything excellence.
When Nigeria was neck deep in economic downturn, political actors (FEC) looked to Prof OSINBAJO for succour, though not a trained economist, but his dexterity and intellect in proferring workable solution to mind-boggling challenges is amazing.

He simply has a penchant for identifying smart and intelligent individuals for particular task. This has consistently placed him miles ahead any person, living or dead that was ever VP.

Take for instance, various interventions put in place to cushion whatever effect arising from the economic downturn was almost always championed by him. N-power, Survival Fund, Trader Moni, Market Moni, were surreptitiously his brain child, which he nutured and saw to its success. When he came to launch Kano's phase of Trader Moni, he interacted freely with market Women. This he replicated across every part of the country he visited. One couldn't miss his sheer empathy with citizens.

As the North of the country is passing through a devastatingly precarious stage, as a result of activities of bloodthirsty terrorists, the VP empathize with the region, and particularly challenged security chiefs to raise the bar, a bit higher. He admonished them to take advantage of prevalent and available technology and intelligence, (atleast these are modern trends in tackling 21st century conflict).

His Excellency's grand understanding and appreciation of other nationalities and ethnic groupings makes him a bridge-builder and unifier. You can't build an enduring bridge with zero knowledge and understanding of its unique undercurrents.

As the South sets to produce the next President, we will do ourselves a great disservice if we don't rally support for this amiable, amazing bank of ideas and intellect. He remains by far, well positioned and capable to take the country out of the doldrums. We must consider it a task -- a mandate incumbent on us to ensure he secures his party's ticket, and victory at the polls.
We can't afford to go back to gory days!

Indeed 2023 is ours to take, and Prof Yemi OSINBAJO is the best among the packs.
