Two weeks ago, security researchers discovered a bug in the code of Log4j. It’s a Java software library used in operational technology products to log security and performance information. It’s also used in many consumer and business services, websites, and applications.

The bug was classified as a high-severity risk and rated ’10 out of 10′ on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS). This is because of the high risk it poses to the Internet if exploited by cyber attackers.
