Get a kiosk,a good location to set up (pls try and avoid major bus stop cos those owo mi da boys will frustrate your life) and a POS terminal. Not forgetting the cash to start with too.

A good location, like entrance of a major street.
Kiosk, POS machine, money and very smart person to run it if you're not going to do it yourself. bear in mind you'd be potential target of theft and the likes so advisable you live quite distant from where your POS shop is.

better still, you can consult someone currently in the business. you may require to pay a small consultation fee.

1.Get a good location and build a kiosk
2 Get moniepoint or opay pos terminal
3.Get Enough capital between 150K and above
4.Know how to beat scammer to their game that will come and try you.

POS business started just this way. Hoping to get a new business idea from here.

Good location should be your top most criteria. Eg. The entrance to a major street, street wey people plenty especially ajekpako own. Street wey get one way in and out. Then others follow. My 2 cent though

Is it a big deal?

You should be a trendsetter, not a follower. Rather that invest all that time and energy in POS, why not invest in the direction commerce is going? I'm talking about digital currencies. I know the govt banned financial institutions from transacting with crypto but I doubt that ban extends to small businesses. Why not do your research on that aspect instead of this outdated and oversaturated POS business? You can also think up a way to promote the E-naira initiative and how it will benefit small business who become early adopters. I'm not much of a help, but best of luck to you.

A kiosk may be expensive.He could start with 2 plastic chairs,One plastive table and an Umbrella....
