Cost of filing cases is very
cheap & generally less than 3k

Na the lawyers charges be
the wahala. A lawyer friend can
do it free or can charge 10k to 1million.

Then there will be appearance fee
any day he appears in court for your
matter.

₦3k for basic Price?? That's quite low.
So at most they shouldn't charge 10, 15 to 20k for the extra services.
This is the information I've been looking to confirm.
thanks a lot

In now depends on the nature of this civil case with your landlord, is it monetary? Or surrounds an abuse to your human rights as a tenant.
For each of the processes you will be filing for your proposed suit. There is a fee the court through it’s registry charges you.
I can’t say much on those fees bc it differs from state to states.

Every lawyer is expected to charge reasonably and commensurate to his service rendered. What I may find reasonable may be different from what the lawyer handling this matter finds reasonable.
