tctrills:I can bet it you never work in Indian, Chinese or Lebanese coys in Nigeria. Asians coys are not interested in the skill of the so called expatriates they are bringing to Nigeria, they are after repatriation of some of their profits back to their country. I am talking from experience, the so called expatriates will come with zero experience on the job and will be trained by Nigerians |

adoyi8: Not when the foreigners share the same ethnicity as the C.E.O of the company.. Overpaying is not a problem as long as the company continues to make profits. It's not about getting the special value it's about empowering their countrymen. 1 Like |

codemaniacs: One important way to reduce unemployment is by attracting foreign investors. No matter how many foreign workers they employ they must directly or indirectly create jobs for the locals and pay taxes on top. So lets look at the big picture and not let tribal instincts control us. |

adoyi8: Foreign investors who ensure majority of their employees are foreigners are not reducing unemployment they're increasing unemployment.. Foreign investors take the profits back to their country.. profits are always higher than taxes.. taxes are crumbs compared to profits.. which means taxes are lower than profits. 1 Like |

codemaniacs: I wonder where you learn your economics from. Direct employment is not the only way to gain from foreign investment. Do these foreigners not live in nigeria? Do they not spend their money in nigeria? |
