The Imo State Government on Monday apologised to the public over how Chief Uche Nwosu was arrested during a church service at the St Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama Obaire in the Nkwerre Local Government Area of the state on Sunday. https://punchng.com/uche-nwosu-imo-govt-apologises-to-anglican-church/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR3Wl5WQFFY2oGR2PFR36bZYEClMPonLzXLQ9XvIe0XFF5hmqwiydV8X46o#Echobox=1640626615 2 Likes

Sacrilegious! The governor should go to that church, kneel down and let the pastor wash the sins off his head, with a few strokes of the cane. 115 Likes 5 Shares |

Hope Uzodimma won't go for 2nd tenure, even the supreme court won't help him out.. No matter what you dare not invade the church to make any form of arrest, .. We all know Uche Nwosu has a questionable character but church invasion should not be condoned! 166 Likes 13 Shares |

Why are you apologizing if you didn't order the arrest ? How did you know it's a security matter if the governor was not informed the police has not said anything about the arrest so ? The problem is only the dumbest Igbo politicians would get the necessary backing by the power that be to win elections in Igbo land In a restructured Igbo nation how can someone like hope be governor ? And u still ask why we want biafra ? 134 Likes 11 Shares |

Nonsense apologies. Don't really care about those politicians but their was absolutely no justification for that commando-styled abduction, only to release the man the following day abi same day. Worse still, in a church premises. 13 Likes |

This Hopeless El-Uzodinjo is a Paramount f0ol. He just recently converted to Islam since his thirst for power and wealth is insatiable. We have always known where his loyalty lies, but this is the lowest of lows, even for him. If pissing all over the holy church is his initiation assignment into the head-slamming cult. We don't know. Thank goodness no one can live forever. He will get his judgement in the end. 37 Likes 3 Shares |

The Bible made it clear that there are sins that can't be forgiven, which is sin against holy spirit. Hope should go ask God for forgiveness not the church. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

So the state government actually had a hand in the arrest after all. Where is the sense in desecrating a church to arrest an alleged high profile criminal when he will be released in less than 24 hours? This is indeed an own goal. 51 Likes 3 Shares |

He will be a one term governor like Ikedi Ohakim! Ohakim stripped and detained a Reverend father and thereafter faced the wrath of the church during the elections and he lost woefully..,. A wise politician avoids any action that will whip up religion sentiment cos Nigerians are very religious people.... 51 Likes 4 Shares |

He was even lucky it was not the Catholic church, by now they would have started organizing a Black Mass like they did to Ohakim in 2010. Even so catholic dioceses where the first to condemn the act even before Anglican. Uzodinma himself knew he has stepped on a wrong toe 29 Likes |
