Imposing ones will, thoughts, ideas, intentions on another is what is described as manipulation, not allowing the victims freedom of opinions and choices should be seen as witchcrafts

Apc led FGN has been imposing their thoughts, ideas, plans, intentions on over 200 million Nigerians, there APC led FGN is a witch and a wizard.

Always asked, I understand the democrazy we practice in our country, unlike the general masses in Nigeria, Which you just so happen to be amongst that are ignorant to The LFN, & choose to assume? When, it is all about the states.

Until the masses learn to hold their states accountable, Nigeria as a Nation will never move forward @ the pace that it is meant to.

Same way you blamed Jonathan, President Buhari has come, you are still looking for a scapegoat to blame?

If I asked you what you or your state produces which adds to Nigeria’s GDP you wouldn’t be able to mention any? You want to benefit, but don’t want to contribute, is that not the height of mental laziness?

Four bottles of chilled beer for u bro with a very big plate of asun wink. Seriously many times i wonder why many of our compatriots doesn't realize that the governor are more closer to the people and even has a lot to contribute for the betterment of the country. Everytime, federal government yen yen yen, personally i believe until majority of us really understand how the politics of the country works, that is the only time we can have a real chance at a serious change because it is only then people knows what they deserve and also who exactly to hold accountable. Funny thing is we keep clamouring for good governance but many of us don't even understand how governance works, many can't even differentiate the role of the house of rep and that of house of senate. And to think many of we the youth that are supposed to be involved in politics with all of our outbursts on the internet, prefer to just sit in a corner and expect a miracle to just happen that will make the country fully developed, smh! Well i believe last last, everybody go later get sense sha

But the cost of governance isn't a thing of concern to the presidency during this time of financial crisis ? Bunch of Shameless people

"The Presidency has justified President Muhammadu Buhari’s refusal to assent to the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill 2021."

I am in agreement with President Buhari refusal to sign this so called Electoral Act (Amendment Bill 2021) for a number of reasons. First, what Nigeria needs in electoral bill today is free and fair election and not more of the same nonsense. Second, Party primaries cost too much money. Instead of spending money on party primaries, use that money to build roads and bridges--which are in terrible conditions. Third, the electoral bill did not include a ban on child voters. In 2015 and 2019, all children in the northern Nigeria voted for candidate Buhari. That is a major problem. Election does not exist unless it is free and fair.

Maybe a curse to you, don’t speak for everyone, State Government is more important to me than Federal Government, Charity they say begins @ home, only Confused Almijirins shout Federal.

State government more important to you than the federal government?
Are you for real or just for another of those infantile propaganda of falsehood?
They have gradually made the federal government of Nigeria and Abuja to near supplier of the air Nigerians breathe.

Why would the Representatives of the people in the National Assembly decide on how political parties conduct their primaries, only for the president - one man in Abuja - to scuttle the wishes of the masses? To enable imposition of leaders from the local government chairmen level, to legislators, to governors and ultimaty to imposition of the next president of Nigeria upon the masses.
The powers of the state and local governments and the legislators are being gradually emaciated by Abuja federal government.

Your third point is the most important thing Nigeria needs.
Voters registration should be tied to BVN or NIN, just like international Passport that's tied to NIN. That will make it difficult for children to be registered to vote.

The SE should be the biggest supporters of this rejection of electoral bill.

Because they don’t have the majority of the candidates who will vote in the primaries, if zoned to the south, the south west will naturally win the primaries.

Now it may swing to indirect, they can negotiate for powers with the north on the ground of equity and fairness in One Nigeria project since 1999.
Mumu reasoning... So if a party microzoned their presidential candidate to South, only Southerners will vote? .no negotiations and lobbying? What do you even understand as a direct primary election? Who are those qualified to vote in it? Be disgracing yourself in public.

This people are not smart at all better they just keep quiet, how will tax payers shoulder cost of primaries? Nothing like that was written in the amended bill, did tax payers shouldered the cost of APC primaries that produced Buhari in 2014? The answer is no, plus INEC only gives out money to parties after primaries are concluded and candidates for each parties is known, this practice to me should be stopped actually, if party members cant fund their parties no need for that party to exist ab initio, yes election cost money all over the world, their members should pay for it and there should be a maximum amount an individual can contribute, back to the subject from ward level officers are elected, from there to state level, from state level they go for national congress thats Direct primaries, Direct Primaries does not means all the party members vote at the primaries at the same time for Senators, Rep, Gov or President, it has never happened and it cant, indirect primarily is the consensus method where some few will sit down in their bedroom and say the party "elders" as nominate so so so to be so so so... Thats what the executive members both at the States and Presidency wants, that's where they derive their powers to control the party, this must stop for us to grow, there is no security threat or economic threat in Direct primaries, these guys should just stop lying, and the National Assemble guys are not doing well in explaining what direct and indirect primaries are to the General public.

These people speak overwhelmingly with lies even when they say the truth many Nigerians doubt them.A candidate is well known at the grassroot than at the federal level and there's wider scope and better opportunity for people to make their perfect choice,we all know that every sound and solid democracy comes with a cost.

You people always look for silly ways to defend the indefensible. How do you know that his state is not contributing? Even if his state is not contributing is that why the whole Nigeria should suffer high cost of living which is clearly a result of lack of economic direction from the top? What about the issue of insecurity? Should we also absolve the FG of all blames? Do you know the amount of power constitutionally available to the FG?

Asking people to forget federal government and start blaming only their state governments shows some of you are deliberately being stup*d.

The state governments have their areas of jurisdiction, I agree, but the issues mostly affecting Nigerians right now are clearly federal in nature. The federal government in Nigeria is almost "all powerful" and this is yet to change. Please stop the silliness, you are not talking to kids.
