You're the one that needs to have your brain checked. By conducting a DNA test on your kids, you're directly telling your wife that you don't trust her and your kids may not be yours. Unless you did it without her knowledge.

Paternity fraud is very rampant in this age and era so it's not out of place for a man to conduct DNA TEST on the kids if he has doubts or made it a matter of policy like me

I'm a man chatting on my wife's account as I haven't got a Nairaland account. If you haven't got anything to hide, there's no reason to see it as disrespectful. I did a DNA paternity test on all my sons and I trust my wife more than I trust myself. My kids look so much like me, yet I still did it as I have heard stories of how babies are exchanged in hospitals, even in America where I live. My wife was never angry and we even joked about it when the results were out as I remember telling her I have got the results with me and she should start praying as I was about the open the envelopes and she was even scared at all as she was so confident.

We saw the results and the probability of paternity for my first, second and third son were 99.99999998, 99.999999997 and 99.99999998 respectively and she just joked that there is still a 0.00000001 or 0.00000002 chance that they aren't mine. If I have any other kid, I'll still do a DNA test as its so simple and wasn't as expensive as I thought. All you need is just to take a swab from the father's buccal mucosa or cheeks and also from the child's buccal mucosa as well.

I don't see how this is disrespectful as you stated.
