APGA is Igbo identity -Okorocha
Okorocha Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has described the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) as a distinct political party that the Igbo passionately believes in and follows like a religion, just as the governor promised his continued support for President Goodluck Jonathan.

Okorocha spoke while playing host to a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ojo Maduekwe, at the Government House in Owerri, the state capital. He promised that APGA would continue to support Jonathan in his drive to develop Nigeria, adding that the party voted for the President during the April 16 presidential election. The governor, however, assured his visitor that his emergence as governor would not affect his relationship with the PDP supporters.

“All Igbo should join APGA for us to be identified, it is our culture. Every Igbo man is APGA before any other party,” he said. Earlier, Maduekwe said that he came to Imo State to congratulate the governor on his election. He said that he was in the state on behalf of President Jonathan, adding that Okorocha is always welcome to the Presidency. “PDP will support him. PDP is interested in good governance. He’s shown capacity for reconciliation and unification,” Maduekwe said.

What is this BS?

APGA is just a political party, it's not a culture or something a whole group should be forced to identify with. This doesn't mean they cannot win the majority of a region.
