Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, yesterday, stated that her organisation was working with international partners to ensure Nigeria gets vaccines with long expiration dates.

She was reacting to the one million doses of vaccines that expired in November and destroyed by NAFDAC and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency and the Abuja Environmental Protection Agency in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 1,066,214 doses of expired AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines were destroyed at the Gosa dumping site in Abuja.

Don't mind those foolish so called pro vaccine Nigerians. When we called out our suspension, they claimed we were anti vaccine. The slave mentality hasn't left them. If those people could treat us so cruelly during the slave trade, all of a sudden they care if we live. Despite all the insecurity plaguing the country, they can't force military assistance or intervention but they will happily poison us.

Happy new year Jo, no need for you to deceive the gullible though. The article you posted said that the expired vaccine was destroyed, you added that they were injected. Is that not subtle deception? How many of such people do you know? Who do you know that took vaccine and died or is worse off because of it? There's no need to force your narrative on people. Humble yourselves and accept you were very wrong on this, and move on. All these sniffing for news to quickly say "I told you, my pastor said it" is kinda immature. You know i try telling you the truth as your friend.

This title is misleading and it can produce severe psychological reactions in the vaccinated. Saying "Nigeria won't collect expired vaccine again" is madness. This implies that the vaccines that were received and injected into some Nigerians are already expired. They had better change the headline if they meant "Nigeria won't collect vaccines with short expiry dates". Imagine these idiots oh. They want people to plummet into depression.
