The noise from activities of IPOB is distracting to say the least, and they're losing the little goodwill left.
So what must they do?
1. Go into agriculture to bridge the gap the north has over South East in that respect. This is pertinent because Igbos are competitive in nature. We don't stop people from doing business so that we can sell. It was when I came to Lagos, that I heard two persons don't do same business in one building.
It is not like that in the East. Twenty persons can be hairdresser in a building and there will be healthy competition.
If you go to Onitsha, Chinese men would spread their big mats, display their fashion wares and be slugging it out with other traders. That is whom we are.
Allow Fulani sell their cow meats (ie if actually a good number of the owners of the business are not Igbos). Allow them. Those busy ones are not killers.
2. Go into education: Freedom project is a long term project and never comes without change of system. Education is the veritable avenue to change any system, without a gunshot.
Using Radio Biafra to spread information is effective, but the very class of people that will drive this freedom are still in primary schools. If you watch the movie, Sarafina; you will understand that South Africa actually won their freedom when the started teaching school children what freedom is. So IPOB must build schools, establish grooming centers etc. Nigeria is too porous that they can never know something like it happening until they start feeling the impulse. Visit Kano and see 100s of terrorists cells everywhere, yet nobody asks question about it.
3. Join a political group: I know people have said more on this. There's more to be said.
Read the history of freedom fighters, none did it from outside. You must be involved in a system to change the system. Find a political party and take over government using instruments of government.
Let's your party make a model of a state and see other states yearning to be part of you.
Sponsor senators, reps, etc to Abuja and let them continue upholding your mandate.
Freedom fighting is a marathon race, not Sprint.
If you want it quick, then you will be labeled terrorists, you will be loathed, hated by even the people who you want to salvage. So be wise and patient about it.

And finally, this piece is for those that have given up on Nigeria.
Those of us who still think there's 'Hope' even in 'Hopelessness', we will still be pushing for a better South East Nigeria.
In 2023, when Nigerians unanimously elect a president from South East extraction, every dissenting voices will join us to show Nigeria that truly, the three wise men were really from the East.
Happy New year

Op, you are giving IPOB the benefit of a doubt that they have sense.

So you want to say you are wiser than their supreme leader?

Those folks have been brainwashed. They only obey Nnamdi Kanu.

If he tells them to eat grass, they will eat grass.
