Women, Youth and Local Government Leaders Converge With Senate Aspirant Olatorera Majekodunmi-Oniru In Abeokuta North, Abeokuta South, Ifo, Ewekoro, Odeda and Obafemi-Owode



Olatorera Majekodunmi-Oniru, has been on the campaign trail meeting with senatorial district leaders. According to Princess Majekodunmi-Oniru, the visits have helped in gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges plaguing the district. At the events, many indigenes cried out of not having strong representative leadership since 2019. Some praised Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello as the best Senator the district ever had. Visitors at the crowded event were very enthusiastic about the emergence of another female Senator to represent the voices and needs of the district at the federal level.



Majekodunmi-Oniru announced her Senatorial ambitions on the 25th of December through a Merry Christmas Greeting to her supporters. She said “After over 8 years of continent-wide consultations, investments and business development, I am officially announcing that I, Olatorera Majekodunmi-Oniru (Ọ.M.Ọ), am running for the Federal Senate Seat for Ogun Central Senatorial District in the Great Country of Nigeria to represent my constituents most progressively. Elections will be held in Q1 of 2023.”
Olatorera Majekodunmi-Oniru emplasized her full and unwavering readiness to run for Senate and move the district and nation forward. She iterated that this has been a relenting dream for over 20 years. She stressed all attendees to “Please get your Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC)”, “Mobilize Massively” and “Prepare to vote.” She concluded her speech with “We are ready. Nothing is stopping this movement for Greater Ogun and Greater Nigeria.”
