cafolu:you clearly don't know how electricity distribution works.... It too early to start arguing with you bro.. let me just give you a tip..i have nepa officials as friends and they do tell me there's is enough power to distribute most times but they just intentionally hold on to it and rather distribute it to areas where the rich can pay more.we are very wicked people in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Okay. So the APC/northern lawmakers should begin process of amending the constitution for the president to be able to run a third term so he can fix the electricity finally. Nigerians will never have to use electric train in the country, ever. Cretin 1 Like 1 Share |

Animal! But you always travel to Countries where they have stable Electricity to seek and collect loans. Greediness will never make Nigeria develop. The Presidency are more interested in maintenance of generators so they could continue cashing out. Next Presidents that would come in will continue not to be happy with the state of Electricity in Nigeria, yet nothing will be done 1 Share

hekola: You said if we want good governance then the sates should be checked so I am simply asking, is it the state governments that regulate generation and distribution of power? Are the 'NEPA' officials state employees? Or the respective state governments are supposed to go and engage with the state 'NEPA' officials to provide power to the poor, rural areas? Help me understand as according to you, I don't know how electricity distribution works... |

Talk to the minister in charge. Political romance is all our leaders are using the remaining time to do. Telling people fake things they know they will love to hear.. The might think it's campaign in the start. Really corrupt leaders! |

Nigeria will never have stable electricity as much as those members of national assembly are owners of petroleum stations across the country, and they are also importers of generators and related appliances. |

Power, security, corruption and exchange rate were issues that you claimed would be addressed when your government gets into power. Right now, you are not happy with the state of power, or with the state of all of the issues mentioned. Electricity bill keeps increasing astronomically, while Nigerians continue to spend so much on fuel to power their generators. I guess, there is no need to ask why rolling out pre paid metres is so difficult. 1 Like 1 Share |

Electricity is supposed to be the number 1 priority of every government before other things can follow. It is very frustrating the money that is supposed to be a profit for business owners goes into generators and repairs. 1 Like |

Well there is a reason why we don't have power It's because we aren't ready to pay for the cost of guaranteeing 24 hours power supply. We pay for power at a price under the production cost, plus a good percentage of people don't even pay for power |
Re: Buhari: I Am Not Happy With State Of Electricity In Nigeria by Nobody: 6:16am On Jan 06, 2022 |
hekola: They do that, because they are private companies and also have to generate income. The Rich areas also pay for power at a higher rate than the poor areas. |
