We have a working GSM sector because we pay the price the GSM companies set. Power, we don't have because we pay less than it costs to produce it, plus people who chase away disco workers who come for debt collection are national heroes.

And yes, the argument stays even if everyone is metered. Metering everyone is good...but so long as government sets the price of power instead of discos, they won't make enough money to pay GENCOS, TCN, and the gas companies.

Igbos villagers should as a matter of urgency switch to solar lamps. Typed someone's traditional marriage items sometimes ago, and kerosene lamp was one of the items. Was wondering if there was a cultural significance of it or if they still legit use kerosene lamps in the east.

A kerosene explosion has killed a toddler identified as Kamsiyochukwu in Awka, the Anambra State capital, IgbereTV reports.

The incident occurred on Monday, January 3, 2022, when kerosene exploded from the local lantern her grandmother was using.

According to a family member, Obu Gad, the little girl, who turned one last November, succumbed to the injuries she sustained in the fire.

Nigeria did not fail her. Anybody that is encouraging crime will surely reap the benefits of crime. In Igbo land,they consider every illegal activities as being smart. Many of you that are shading crocodile tears on this forum knows the oil bunkeres, you know those that are sailing adulterated kerosene, you know those that are sailing fake building materials but you will not report to SON until a building is collapse you started blaming government. Many you know where they are producing fake drugs in Anambara but you will not tell Nafdac until you buy one for your child then you will understand.

Kerosene lantern in 2022? I thought this region imports different kinds of rechargeable lamps, how come they forgot to send some to the village. Instead ,they took the whole shipment to ALABA intl market and forgot home.
