Hello Nairalanders,

I decided to make a thread regarding one of the topics that has been on my mind for quite some time. Since, I have been a member of this forum, I have noticed quite a few threads regarding people using others for "rituals", as well as people visiting "native doctors" to have charms made. So, I decided to make this thread out of sheer curiosity. After all, I'm a psychology major, so I guess you can understand my need to analyze various aspects of human behavior.

Okay, so as I've stated earlier, I have noticed a lot of topics that mention people murdering other people with the intent to use their body parts for rituals, and all sorts of things related to the spirit realm. For example, in the thread titled "My Story As A Cult Member........initiation Phase Included", there is a member by the name "Saynotocultism", who mentioned how he experienced some sort of spiritual attack, in which people caused him to have a stroke. He went on to say that he saw his attackers in a dream and when he woke up, he went to the local market to purchase a black hen and some items and somehow he was able to transfer the stroke to the hen.

This is quite intriguing and it seems that Nigeria as a land is steeped in various occult/spiritual beliefs. So in short, I created this thread as a free fall to let any and everyone come in and just freely write about your own encounters with the spiritual world. Please do not hold back. I encourage you to write about any experience you may have had that deals with the spiritual world. I'm just a person with a curious mind, of which I have had since I was a small child. And again, as I have stated, I have spent the majority of my life studying human behavior, so this kind of stuff intrigues me.

Please come in and share your stories with whatever supernatural/spiritual phenomenon you have encountered whether in your childhood, adult life, or both. Also, if you do not have any personal experiences, but you know of someone else who has had these sorts of experiences, you can feel free to write about theirs as well. Thanks!

I remember this when I was small. I was in the dream of the night when a demonic creature oppressed me in the dream. It was a serious fight between the both of us and it seemed to be at the winning end when I suddenly woke up. I went to our tiled toilet to urinate and physically (I ain't joking) I saw this same demonic presence inside the toilet laughing at me and it threatened that it was sent on errand to eliminate my family and that it will stop at nothing to wipe us all out and send us all straight to hell. It is of note here that already at the age, they had already killed my dad through motor accident. Subsequently, they also killed my mom through same motor accident and made similar moves on my life and those of my siblins. But I thank God very much cus God later became very interested in our case cus our hands were clean and innocent including those of my late parents as confirmed from different quarters. We later learnt of the wicked people that sent the demon against us as they became very brazen and were no longer hiding it, afterall what can we do?
THE MOST PAINFUL PART WAS THAT WHEN MY MOM DIED, I HAD A DREAM WHERE SOMEONE LIKE AN ANGEL WAS WARNING ME THAT MY MOM WILL END UP IN HELL.

First, I want to thank you for sharing your experience and I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your parents. You have been through a lot, and I totally believe you, as I have also had some disturbing experiences that mostly centered around my dreams as well. And like you, I have also lost a parent, but I'm not sure exactly what caused it, but I definitely have my theories. To be frank, this is also one of the reasons I wanted to make this thread; to be able to compare and see if others have had similar spiritual experiences.

A lot of people doubt the existence of the spirit realm, and even I have been somewhat of a skeptic at times, in spite of my own unexplainable encounters. But, I do believe that there are things that go beyond the explanation of science and I can certainly say that your experience is one of them. Also, do not allow any malicious spirit to make you feel as if your parent is in hell. I truly believe that if one lived a clean and honest life in this world, as much as they possibly could, there isn't any good deity that will send the person to hell. To punish a good person is beyond evil, and I believe that entity was just trying to torment you. Please stay encouraged and I hope whatever is pure and good in the universe continues to watch over you and your loved ones. Again, thanks for sharing your experience!
