According to the DPP’s advice, two autopsy examinations were carried out on the deceased. The First was conducted on December 2nd in Warri, Delta State by the late Sylvester’s parents. The second autopsy was however, carried out on the 14th of the December at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja. The DPP revealed that apart from apart from the one conducted in Delta State by the Family, the other one done at LASUTH was performed in the presence of Pathologists representing the Families of the Accused and the Deceased.
