Topic: Overcome obstacles in pursuing God's Purpose for your life.

Text: James 1:12

The basic obstacles to Purposeful life are trial and temptation. When we are fed with bread and butter Christianity and not the cross kind of Christianity, we become like babies unable to take in intensive pressure. We break and cry when things are not working as planned, we complain and appoint blame and we give up too soon.
Last year experience of one of my beloved prayer partners is inspiring. He had a vision God told him to go to Guinness brewery for a job, and he went without applying or knowing if there was truly an opening. When he got to the company and tried to go in, they stopped him because his name wasn't on the list and he told the man in charge he was sent by God to come and get the job, the man included his name and he got the job. And it was a laborer's job, not actually what he had in mind, for he is a graduate, after working for some days he decided to quit the job, first the money was poor and the work was great. When I called him one faithful morning to share things with him, he told me he was quitting. I shared my experience with him and told him he was on a divine test, he either passed or failed.
He decided to continue. Few weeks the company discovered his potential and moved him to what he studied in school and he was being paid well.
Obedience and patience won it for him, things get worse before it gets better. You must be determined to face whatever challenge the devil throws at you in this 2022 to come out victorious.
James says God blesses those who patiently endure trials and temptation. Why will God reward your patience? Because he is proud of you that you didn't disappoint him. Be tough, be determined and be strong to pass any test that will come your way this year.

2 father lead me not into temptation and deliver me from all evil in 2022
