The Bukola Saraki-led administration constructed the first-of-its-kind Ilorin city flyover which residents hoped will ease vehicular and pedestrian movement along the ever-busy post office/ muritala road.

The Ilorin flyover constructed by the state government at its core commercial nerve-centre, which goes from the Challenge, Bus-stop end to the Muritala Road end and crosses the road from the Library end to the post-office/railway area, has failed to end the regular traffic congestion that the construction of the bridge promises to reduce.
