One thing is clear, that loss was never expected, judging by the vitriol pouring out of Egyptians against their coach, with some asking him to resign on the spot.

Has Nigerian football became that bad and so disrespected that a loss against us by countries like Egypt will trigger such mass bitterness against their own national team management staff?
