The Tertiary Education Trust Fund(TETFUND) has honoured the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, for what it termed frugal management of funds as well as efficient and effective execution of projects.

Recall that the award was conferred on the Polytechnic on Thursday, 16th December, 2021, as many critical stakeholders in the sector showered encomiums on the citadel for attaining such enviable feat.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Protocol, Media and Public Relations Officer of the institution, Sola Lawal, the copy which was made available to newsmen.

According to the statement, the Rector, Dr. Prince John Taiwo Adekolawole, in his reaction has described the award as a product of concerted efforts by staff and students of the Polytechnic urging them to sustain the tempo of commitment and efficiency.

The Rector also commended the new Governing Council, led by Air Cdre Emmanuel Jekada, mni, Ph.D for their efforts in making the institution the cynosure of all eyes and a model of academic excellence.

He, however, advised students to take their studies serious as the institution has zero tolerance for examination malpractice and other social vices; he therefore wished the entire Polytechnic community a prosperous new year.
