Somebody once told us the tree of this fruit we have in our compound. He said if the root gets to the foundation of the main building the head of the family will die. We did nothing though. |

Toks2008: No this almond is different… what u get inside naija ‘frunt’ looks similar but much skinnier than these ones. We don’t know the botanic name, we just call it ‘fruit’ or ‘frunt’ as my uncle would say |

Re: What Is The Name Of This Fruit? by Lavisha(f): 3:04pm On Jan 14, 2022 |
Toks2008: It's either you're a rich brat or an Indomie generation. Back in the day, after eating the succulent part of the fruit, we'd still munch on the hard inner shell, las las na stone we go use Scatter the shell to remove the very soft and sweet NUT. |

Re: What Is The Name Of This Fruit? by WoundedLamb: 3:42pm On Jan 14, 2022 |
Funkymode:But I never said it was almond. It's tropical almond. That's different from almond just like grapefruit is different from grape, pineapple different from apple and watermelon different from melon. It's just the name but it's not really almond. 1 Like 1 Share |
