What The South Can Learn From The North (opinion) by Nobody: 3:08pm On Jan 14, 2022 |
Note: I am not from the North and I have never been there but there are certain stereotypical things we can learn from them. 1. Politics: Southerners are far more democratic than the north, in times of peace this might seem like such a great idea but in times of crisis this is terrible, northerners know how to unify and select a single leader to represent them whereas in the south everyone wants to be a leader and so it further divides people making Southerners less powerful. 2. Religion: Northerners are very religious this is supposed to be a bad thing but this could have some benefits...People who are very religious tend to believe in themselves in their own destiny, in their own future, if used properly religious zeal can lead people to greatness, once again in the South religion has been bastardized it has become a tool for making money, a tool for entertainment or as in most cases a tool for resentment. This why Talibans defeated the Afghan forces. 3. Women: Northerners are always accused of treating women badly, of how they are dogs who can't marry one woman, now lately in the South there's so much tension between Men and Women, babymamas and sluts are now on the rise, the same men who say Northerners are cruel to women will come out and say "Nigerian women are useless all of them" this has led to a rise in divorce cases, cheating husbands, friendzoning, paternity fraud etc. Whereas the north foresaw these problems and prevented them. Again my own opinion, you can add yours... thanks. |

![]() There's nothing worth learning or copy from north, and there's nothing in north to be envious of. High level of illiteracy, religious tension, banditry, Bokoharam, Iswap. Almajiris littered every street and corners of north begging. Underage girls been married to ancestors and this underage gives birth like dogs..spit Even the president we have that is from north is behaving like an average northerner, so backward , clueless and incoherent in all what he does and sympathetic to Bokoharam, bandits, Iswap terrorists. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nothing to actually learn from North.. Cos to them they know how to play politics by turning their region into a war zone. Southerners value lives more than northerners.. No disrespect Religion? Are northerners tolerant religiously? Same religion that is encouraging them to be producing more Almajiri yearly, education and civilization are sins? They should rather learn from Southern region, though they are not united but they are playing more matured politics than northerners. Boko Haram is 2 decades old? How many are their fighters? Which tribe dominated Police, army, navy? Why are Boko Haram not in any Southern part of the country abi Muslims are not there? 2 Likes |

helinues:Matured politics that's why Northerners have been ruling since 1960. Boko Haram are not in the South same way Yahoo boys, ritualists, cultism and more recently Unknown gunmen are not that common in the North. If you add all the people that have died from cult clashes it's more than Boko Haram have ever killed. |

LordVoldermort:Matured or primitive politics? Neither yahoo boys nor ritualist control any territory. They can't even operate freely as Boko haram and bandits do. This is a joke. Boko haram has caused the death of about 350,000 people so far. We have not even included casualties from bandits, Kaduna and middle belt ethnic cleansing, religious and electoral violence. At the current killing rate, it will take ritualist, cultists and gunmen at least 2,000 years to match up with current Boko haram killings alone. |

ivolt:Well your forgetting that most of the soldiers fighting Boko Haram are from the North as well and I don't see why Primitive politics should be defeating Matured politics |

LordVoldermort:there's absolutely nothing worth learning from the north. North is just lucky to have only one dominant tribe unlike the south with two. When it comes to politics, dominant tribe tend to be at the forefront, reason u think they unify to select someone to represent them. If only u know how embittered NC leaders are towards the core-north on politics, u wouldn't spit such statement. It's like the proverbial trees that kept voting for the axe simply because it's handle is made of wood. |
