I have returned 20k to a pos operator even when she was not aware. I just called her to give me her account and I forwarded the 20k tell her that she sent it twice.

Good observation. I know a pos operator who doesn'tcharge for withdrawals using your atm card. He said pos operators aren't supposed to charge for withdrawals no matter the amount, because the bank will charge you a fee for withdrawals and the pos operator has a share in the fee.

Nice one......I have done several stuffs like this before, I don't feel comfortable taking what's not mine. Even person girlfriend sef I nor dey look her twice.





Last year I received a credit alert of N25,200 from a POS. I didn't go to any POS that month and wondered who sent me the money......I contacted family members and close friends but they said they ain't the ones that sent the money. I waited for 4days if anyone would call but they didn't so I had to spend it......Did I commit any sin?

I had such experience late last year. I went to buy a phone for my brother. The phone was worth 45000 but instead the lady selling the phone punched 4500 instead and gave me the card. Because my phone was dead and i relied on the payment slip, i looked at it and pointed her error to her. I gave her back the card to collect the remaining money. This time around she charged 35000 and gave me back the card. I looked at the slip again and told her the money is not complete yet. It was at the 3rd attempt that she charged me complete.

She thanked me and i left

God bless you for ur kind heartedness. My sales girl made similar mistake during the Christmas period, She withdrew #2,400 instead of 22,400 the customer went away with the money till speaking.

please pull this down. It's wrong information. No be everybody dey use bank pos. Did she tell you banks withdraw arbitrarily from accounts? Non bank pos companies charge on withdrawals

The POS might need funds to carryout transfer..that could be the reason he'd collect 400 for 60k

I am telling you what I know. The guy is in my office and I patronize him. He charges fees for all other transactions ( transfers, deposit etc) except withdrawals with card.
