I so discussed about this yesterday with a friend. Honestly if the Delta state government can think very well and fast, they should as a matter of urgency create a major international market within Asaba or probably in Ughelli to meet the needs of neighboring states like Bayelsa, Port Harcourt, Edo and most especially the Delta indigens who troop to Onitsha everyday.

Asaba is also Igbo land

Give it a rest please... Asaba rejected you a long time ago!

Restrict your chest beating to your landlocked 5 states. Thank you.

Asaba is an Igbo town. Nothing wrong with them getting investments from Onitsha. There is always enough to go round.

If Asaba is an Igbo town, then go there and enforce sit at home... No need making this noise online.

No wonder Wike had to teach you confused people a hard lesson.

Stay in your 5 states and keep making lives difficult for yourselves and citizens... Leave neighboring states out of it.

Once u start a fire u can’t quench it easily.

Bad news spread more than good news, the important thing is that to not start what u can’t finish, don’t start at all.

Have u not observed that the dss is now even playing games with u guys, they would announce ahead of time that Nnamdi Kanu would be brought to court watch u declare seat at home then not bring him to court another day wasted, then after some weeks they say they will bring him to court again then not bring him another seat at home wasted.

Most of these Igbo traders you talk about are môre financially balanced to compare with you thinking that you're over zealous with your day to day work.....

As long as business is involved, if you close an Igbo Man's door, he'll make another pathway to still maintain his financial stability.

How can many of you miss out the message the poster is passing across..

He is simply saying that, the sit-at-home is not a wise decision for the igbos at this time. How is it even affecting the leaders at the helm of affairs? We're still the ones losing.

You can't be killing your fellow igbos just to enforce a sit at home. Where's the freedom of choice. The way I see this IPOBIANS, they'll be worse than the present crop of Nigerian leaders if we eventually get Biafra. Any opposition, na death sentence be that. Our mumu never do? When will people ever learn their lessons? SPITS

I don't understand how many
Southeasterners don't see that the one thing that can hurt it's people is the one thing they are the best at: doing business. The federal government or buhari is not feeling all these sit at home effect

you made sense there. But IPOB should stop this. This is height of cluelessness and inflicting injuries to one’s self. Until IPOB makes all Igbo businessmen sit at home on Monday, nation-wide, they will be missing it

Are you guys this clueless or catching cruise with the topic? Ipob never annouced a weekly sit at home. They have said it over and over: sit at home comes only when NK goes to court, and it has been like that evrr since. The people u see enforcing these things by killing people are government paid agents. Have u ever even wondered why no none of the enforcers has been arrested by the police?

Don't be deceived, Aso rock is trying to destroy the SE economy, by they always get frustrated each tome.

They way most people carry Southern Region seat at home for head ehh...e tire me.

One thing is certain, even if they lockdown southeast for 1month, you won't and will never see families queue up on line to beg for what to eat.

Rather we will feel the pains as humans we are but God knows how to make the impossible, possible for us.
the sit-at-home is criminal and worse than anything Buhari has done.

Jump off your high horse, son.

Asaba has now become the chosen destination for many igbo business people.

Many Igbo's who trade in onitsha have now migrated to live in Asaba.

Many have sited their warehouses in Asaba and have their shops in onitsha.

As the useless sit at home goes on In onitsha, they are able to supply goods to customers in Asaba.

The customers now stop in Asaba, feed in asaba, lodge in asaba, transport in Asaba etc.

They now have to pay for their warehouses in Asaba.

When there is sit at home on monday, trucks bringing goods to the east, spend the night in Asaba. The drivers sleep, and feed in Asaba.

All that spending goes to delta state government. They will pray for the foolish sit at home to continue in Igboland, let business activities be diverted.
How kogi state is not cashing out on this is amazing!

If that's the only game they play, then I think Igbos are better of with it. I personally prefer that one instead of going around shooting people in the name of sit at home enforcement and the UGM shii.

Let their childish game continue.

U are not wise to know that not just are they just now living in onitsha they are now moving their businesses there too?

When una go wise

Go close to the airport side and see the massive real estate going on there , the are moving the money close to airport

There is also an international market that is under construction in akwa

Don’t tell me you know more than me in this issue , I’m giving you first hand information

Airport drove them away

They use enugu or asaba airport ,asaba is closer to Onitsha the business hub.. that was why they invested in asaba . Now that airport is here they are moving serious money gradually towards that end
