Hello Nairaland Good morning to everyone my name is Promise I'm in my mind 20s currently I have graduate but still having some outstanding courses (full session) I graduated form one of the state university now my problem is that I'm an Amateur boxer (Paramount king boxing) Lagos and still need to clear my courses before I can take my results things haven't been going well with me the people training me in boxing has told me to choose between my Carrera in boxing and the school I'm going ( because it's really affecting me I can't go to training anymore) I don't know what to do should I just leave this degree and focus on my boxing carrera ( may be I may travel abroad when opportunity comes) or should I finish my school because this degree has been drawing me back ward(since 2015 I was suspended and I came back in 2019 ) now I graduated but I'm still owning my school delsu (9 outstanding courses) and I'm really suffering because my parents don't have much but dy are still struggling to make sure I go I'm really tried please I need advice please u can insult me but I also advice me thank you I'm the first son I have two sisters

Try and look for money and complete your studies first.
You can train on your own in the meanwhile.You can always go back to boxing.

I need some advice.

For context, I'm the first child and only son of 3 siblings, in my mid 20s. I'm an aspiring graduate of Delta State University, and also an amateur boxer at Paramount King Boxing in Lagos. I have done my final year at school but I still have 9 outstanding courses to complete before I can graduate and be awarded my result.

The problem is that my school work makes it impossible for me to go for training, and my boxing coach has made it clear that I have to choose between going back to school, and my boxing career. My two options are, leave the degree and focus on my boxing career, or go back to school and finish my degree programme. I'm confused!

The degree has been drawing me back. I was suspended in 2015 but I came back in 2019. My parents are stretched financially yet they're struggling to make sure I graduate, but I'm tired.
