Women push others to FGM because some of us are are the custodians to the patriarchy. So yes men support it because it supposedly helps to create a sea of women who have no sexual desire and as such will remain chaste/virginal for them.

Every single thing about the patriarchy is about upholding men’s egos and keeping women’s bodies in a state that is preferable to men. Not surprising that many of them support FGM.

Our mothers and mothers before them circumcised without no complications. According to the wife story she did her own at age 12 surely this will have complications that’s why it is done after birth to avoid that. I can’t blame the man for wanting to do that only fault him for beaten his wife.
