10 Teams That Press The Most In The Premier League by Crossboy(m): 7:55pm On Jan 21, 2022
All football teams try their best to get the ball back as quickly as possible. The faster the ball is won, the more time they have to oppose the opponent and eventually see the return of the net.

One of the techniques to get the ball back is called “pressure” in which one team always presses on the men who own the ball. By chasing and cutting through crossings, teams force opponents to make a loose save or easily catch the ball.

When done effectively, a good pressure system can free any party from the world and increase the chances of victory.

Today, we take a look at some of the Premier League teams that have mastered the art of lobbying.

Here are the five Premier League teams with the most successful wins in the 2021-22 campaign.

1. Leeds United: 951 pressure

Marcelo Bielsa's football skills are enough to win the Leeds United Championship. Unfortunately, the Premier League turned out to be a completely different game for the Argentine brain.

Leeds United football is one of the most popular sports in the division, but their high pressure makes them vulnerable to the best.

The 16th-ranked team may be lagging behind on the larger metrics, but of course they can be happy on their pressure points. The Whites have won 951 of their 3,118 Premier League tackles this season, putting them at the top of our list.

If they can find a way to plug the holes in their safety, they can have another time guarantee at the top of the English plane.

2. Crystal Palace: 932 pressure

Former Arsenal star Patrick Vieira has agreed a fee with Crystal Palace.

Palace, who sit 11th in the table, are also far from being one of the Premier League's top performers, but early signs suggest he is very promising.

The Crystal Palace football logo has been incredibly advanced and they have become a simple and medium device. They have tried the most pressures in the Premier League this season (3126), finishing 932 of them.

Unsurprisingly, a huge chunk (1,116) of those publications are third defensive, but that is not a shame for the promising mid-table side.

3. Chelsea - 927 pressure

Despite suffering some setbacks in the Premier League, Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea have done well. He is currently in second place and leads Liverpool by one point, third, after playing more games than the Reds.

Thomas Tuchel's 3-4-2-1 system is very reliant on pressure. The Blues are keen to regain possession as quickly as possible, which is evident from the amount of pressure they have struggled in the Premier League this season.

Of his 2,976 hit attempts, 793 were hit third, suggesting his ability to regain possession in the opponent's half. In total, they received 927 prints, achieving an average of 31.1 percent.

Chelsea have benefited greatly from the power of Reece James and Mason Mount this season. So when the duo doesn't show up, Chelsea's intensity and form increase.

While the Mountain should be normal on the Tuchel side for the rest of the season, taking Hamstring James can control it for weeks.

The Blues are considering the current situation and may even be looking for a strong replacement in the winter transfer window.

4. Southampton - 897 pressure

Unfortunately, Ralph Hasenhuttl's Southampton are in the bottom half of the Premier League table. However, that does not mean they have not been a fantastic team to watch this season.

They have done their best to keep the opposition on their toes and are as adventurous as possible.

Southampton have attempted 2,904 hits this season, winning 897. Of their 2,904 attempts to squeeze, 748 are in the final third and 1,239 in the middle, which is a surprise for a team in 14th place.

5. Brighton & Hove Albion: 879 pressure

Brighton & Hove Albion have not been able to make their lives count like Liverpool, but of course they have made life difficult for their opponents.

The Seagulls like to put pressure on opponents on the field and stop as soon as possible.

So far, Brighton have attempted a total of 2805 presses, averaging 879 of them. Unsurprisingly, most of its publications are in the middle and half of it.

They have attempted just 737 hits in a third of a field goal in the Premier League this season.
