Jonathan has already ruled for South South, he does not fit him coming back since he has enjoyed the most exaulted position for 6yrs except he would rule 2 years to complete his 8yrs but unfortunately that is not possible here in Nigeria were greed is in our Political DNA.
The only two regions that I would have suggested to balance this political buhaha is North Central and South East but unfortunately they have a very week political foundation in this 4th republic.
Most expecially the North Central, no solid and sellable candidates have even had interest, their political gladiators messed it up by accepting Chairmanship seat, they should have opted for the seat of the President, reason be is because they seems to be balanced factor because of their ethnic and religious values and beliefs, that's the behave like South and same time like North. then base on sympathy the next region should be the South East to take up the position as number one citizen of country but they have a weak political base. The south west have no business with 2023 having had Obasanjo from their region who completed his 8yrs

Please with due respect am not from the East OK my opinion is for a balanced power rotation, I would have preferred the North Central but they have weak political base in this 4th republic, the west would be selfish if they eye 2023 having enjoyed complete 8yrs.
This is my own opinion thank you

Bro, APC will never microzone to the South East.

If PDP wants, it can balance it by microzoning to the South East.

But APC will never microzone. Ibos like Umahi and Kalu don throw in their cap alongside Tinubu.

Tinubu will not step down for neither of them.

Apart from this, on what basis will the APC microzone to the South East?

Have the Hausa ruled in the North since 1999? Why did people like you not ask for equity when GMB was about to contest in 2015? Yardua was a Fulani man from Katsina, is fulani the only ethnic group in the North?

Even the PDP is not ready to microzone to the South East. Wike himself wants to be a vice president but people like you go dey shout say make dem give ibo the chance to rule

APC have never won any Governorship election in the South East, APC is weak in the South East... Does it make sense for APC to now microzone to the APC and lose woefully.

APC could have consider microzoning to the South East, but the main opposition body language has been showing they will give a Northerner the ticket.

Believe me, Atiku will never step down for an Ibo man in the PDP. He will outspend wike and any other person in the PDP that wants to stop him from becoming the PDP flag bearer.

See guy, Politics no be play play.

No Ibo Politician in the APC can defeat Atiku, an Ibo Politician will lose woefully in the North East and North West.

It unfortunate that Yar'adua died so early. I will categorically state here that his death led to this miscarriage regional political war in this 4th republic, but we cannot question God why it happens but we can re adjust the system by making the North Central rule, then South East, then North East, by so doing power would have rotated round, so that is why I am against South West ruling again because this act will be cheating against other regions, cause if the South west rule 2023, I bet you the war chest in the North West will want to rule again, there by scheming out the North East and Central.
Thats my humble opinion

I understand what you're saying... But you have to understand PDP is not APC.

After Tinubu rule Nigeria, power will go to the North Central or North East, from there it will rotate to the South South or South East. So far APC keeps on wining.

If another party takes over from the APC, then the permutation will change.

So if the APC present Tinubu and the PDP present Atiku, who will you be voting? Or you won't vote neither of them.

Hahaha.., well I guess I would have to vote Tinubu on two bases that No other south west candidate is ready to go against him and secondly majority of the political gladiators have agreed power should go back south and looking at the political chest of the south West against the East, the east seems not to be ready because they fail to groom their own ahead of 2023.
That's just my opinion thanks

Jonathan became president upon Yar Adua's death on 5th May 2010, and won his own full term for 4yrs from 29th May 2011 to 29th May 2015.

They promptly silenced the only opposing and audible voice from North Central, therefore effectively silencing the people of that region when they took out Obdia Mai Lafia.

If you are a politician, this is a good time to divorce tea and apple.
