Tunisia players are good in deceiving Refree, they can easily manipulate red card for their opponent with fake injury. Aside that, Black Stars of Ghana play better than them. 1 Like |

Jmichael1: Keep misappropriating blames. That's why Nigeria continue to lag behind amongst the big Footballing nation's in Africa. We have the highest population and by extension expected to possess the largest talent pool but our Afcon trophy haul betray our status. NFF has always found ways of doing things wrong. The number of tournament we have prosecuted with emergency manager is countless and most of it have turned out disappointingly. The so called Eguavoen is having his second stint as super eagle coach to a nation's cup. His first was 2004 when we were ousted by same Tunisia. Check most of the African countries and the profile of their manager. Most may not go for the big names but those they hire are notheless consistent and relevant in the current scheme of things. Even when we hired a foreign coach, it was the one who has recent history of being sack in previous assignments. And the emergency approach, I remember Amodu playing such role countless time. We will fire managers when tournament is at hand then go for Shuiaibu Amodu as rescure 2 Likes |

I concur to your remark on Umar Sadiq. That guy was more active & result oriented than those other neutral & invisible attackers used .The Tunisian defenders were more troubled when he came in.His positioning & movement not bad . How I wish he started the match. SE played big boys football, they hardly chase balls, but would rather wait for it to come to them. They give their opponents too much space to play. As much as people called out Umar Sadique he was more passionate and ready to do all it takes to win than 90% of his teammates on the field.[/quote] |

inderhappy: I no know why Nigerian coaches ever took Okoye seriously. Pesin wey chop 7 goals for him Dutch club side one time. And before that, no be 4 e chop against Sierra Leone in the qualifiers for this same tourney. Rohr na waste abeg. He brought these wack goalies to the national team. Thing be say, our best hands dey the local league. Even Enyeama emerged from Enyimba. Abi no be so? |

Quest7777: They are good enough, at least good enough to be described as AFCON quality; they just don't have enough passion, industry and discipline to deliver consistently. In 2013, you will remember, a local lad was the star of the AFCON of that year and Zambia won it with bang average local players who had the heart and the steel to go all the way. The Super Eagles of this generation just don't have the stuff of Champions. Till dem change their mentality, dem no go win ordinary sibi for Nigeria. No be curse. |

blackmantis: The fools blaming that guy are just tribalists who don't know jack about football. Sadiq was the only good thing in that game, for Nigeria. Dude worked his butt off, yet ethnic bigots singled him out for blame. Yes, we have a malu for president but shey na crime now to come from his tribe ni? Garba Lawal got alot of heat like that during his playing days too. Nigerians go embarrass you Sha! |

You can see this Tunisia side are not good. I just knew they would mess up in the next round. Small tactical jig up, Eguavoen confuse. Shows how poor and tactically inept our coaches are. They should go and be playing Football Manager. 2 Likes |
