The Menace Of Unity Begging and Fight against Secession by foryourmindnow: 4:17pm On Jan 23, 2022 |
Nigerians and Nigeria have continued to ask Igbos to be part of the country since 1966 after a counter coup that led to ethnic cleansing of Igbos in Northern Nigeria which led to killing of 60,000 Southerners of mostly Igbo origin in cold blood. The Igbos declared an independent state of Biafra from Eastern Nigeria. Nigeria called on Britain and Russia who helped in killing 3 million more Igbos in an effort to crush Biafra Republic and preserve One Nigeria. 50 years after that war, Igbos are still asking for Biafra, labeling Nigeria unprintable names like zoo Republic. To understand how these names have stuck, Google "which country is a zoo". If your wife of 5 years who you got married to via an arranged marriage tells you it's over, it is only right to calm her down and know her reasons see if you can sort things out. If your wife continues insisting she wants a divorce and goes outside and tell people you're impotent and disgrace you everyday, you as a man should throw her things outside and maintain your peace of mind. Nigeria has not accepted this fate. They keep asking Igbos to be part of Nigeria, via subtle begging, arguing online and violent killings of anybody deemed to be a secessionist by Nigeria security operatives. During this period, Nigeria has not developed. In fact, things are getting worse. Check all the news in Nigeria, there's minimum of 20% and sometimes up to 80% of the entire attention given to talks about Biafra. Nigeria is borrowing money. A great chunk of these funds are going to "crushing" Biafran secessionists which Nigeria has labeled "terrorists". Lol. For example the DSS says each Nnamdi Kanu's trial in court costs them 500 million naira (more than 1m dollars) to produce him in court. The FG is heavily paying newspapers and lobbyists and wasting too much time on Biafra while parts of the country are overtaken by poverty, hunger and of course Fulani bandits and the real "terrorists" known as Boko Haram and ISWAP. What will be the fate of Nigeria if Biafra secession finally happens? Who will account for all the lives, monies, time and progress that unity begging from Igbos have cost? Nigeria's reputation is already battered internationally while unity begging is already causing inferiority complex among Nigerians who are made to believe that Nigeria without the Igbo man is not possible. Nigeria, I hope it is not too late when you realize that you could have channeled all your resources and years of fighting secession into making life better for those who agreed to be part of Nigeria instead of wasting it chasing those who have made up their mind never to be involved in your country. 4 Likes 2 Shares

For example, the United States has two secessionist groups. One is Texas Republic agitators while the other group is agitating for independence of Hawaii. These two groups are allowed to protest. In fact, they get police protection each time they're protesting as per usual. No sensible person wants to secede from the United States of America so as expected, these groups don't have any support. The United States is respected for allowing these people their rights. In fact, if up to 30% of Texans support secession the US is ready to hold a referendum for them. Texas was never part of USA. They were allowed into USA after a referendum in the Senate twice (the first one failed). Texas, a standalone country begged for 20 years before they were allowed into the USA as a state. On the other hand, Nigeria is seen as a weakling nation for begging uninterested people to be part of it.

DabuIIIT:It's real madness. You're not progressing, the person you're holding is not progressing (albeit a little bit). The country is in chaos, hunger and poverty. Bandits are recruiting Almajiri and hardship is everywhere. Instead of using the small money you got from oil and borrowing (the remaining ones politicians have not looted) to help Nigerians from hardship, you're using it to fight people who swear with their lives never to be Nigerians. This is the height of it bro. 1 Like |

Soldiers retrd or not are only good in command and totalitarian STRUCTURES.. They are not good in proper planning and control in governance, management and administration. Until BUHARI understands planning, coordination, Reporting and control, NIGERIA will collapse under APC. |

orisa37:So you mean Nigeria has not collapsed? Well try calling police on 911 to report an emergency or call fire service or call an ambulance. Nigeria is totally collapsed and not going anywhere in the next 1000 years. The politicians know this that's why they're just borrowing from world bank and looting the money to their offshore private bank accounts. |
