Young man, You are not loosing focus but you are the predicament of what's happening to you right now, all you think is the photoshop, and thats not bad, but how well have you planned this?you wanna buy a coin till 2024 what if it looses its value or you start up the bizz and nothing comes out of it?
The best advice I'll give to you is not loosing focus on your education, force yourself to break through it, in the line also you can be doing the photoshoot bizz while in school nothing stops you, be wise about this decision so it won't affect your life and you'll now regret later for the mistakes you've made.
Focus on your education, get your photoshoot business resources while you are learning also even before 2024 who knows what might be in store for you

Your education can never be a waste of time. Compare artists like zaazu and nmarly. Both are wereys but Marley 100times better than the other mumu werey. Your education will serve you even in your photography. It will boost your horizon. Finish your school then enroll for proper training in photography.
Do this not just for yourself but your parent, me, and all nairalanders.

Guy, I was like you back then. Started learning photography cos I was broke as a student. Took my mind off academics. I can tell you one thing, photography is not your purpose in life. It's a side attraction. The fulfilment you feel you're getting now is just initial gragra kinda passion.

Chill, you'll eventually be able to do photography all you want but please finish school first. You're almost done. If you don't, you'll just float through as a frustrated person (most likely sha. Anything can happen)

But please don't bank on uncertainties. Completing your degree puts you at a better edge than many others. Please try and finish.

I beg you.

Trust me, making it as a photographer is not all you're imagining it to be. You'll spend a lot on gadgets before you can start enjoying it. You don't have that yet. I didn't too.

Got a job, bought a camera to keep practicing, eventually had to sell it and move to learn software engineering. Just bought another camera now that things are stabilizing.

It's mostly an hobby. Don't fall into the passion trap oo. You go hear hwennn

manuelkel:
Good day
My name is Frank
I’m a 300lvl student of department of philosophy, my parents pay about 130k for tuition and 50k+ for lodge including other expenses.
Recently I’ve been loosing passion, zeal and focus for education.....I have always had a dream of venturing into photo shooting all my life. I see myself lost educationally, I am thinking of writing a withdrawal to focus on photo shooting since my mind and brains are not focusing anymore on education, like I don’t understand a single term in lecture halls anymore, I am lost and I want to channel the energy and passion into something I have always dreamt of.
The problem is I don’t want my parents to find out,I want to keep collecting the money for the remaining 2years,use them to buy a coin, leave them till 2023 Xmas then eventually by 2024 I can be able to start up my own photo shooting office and maybe 2years time I can finish up my education. Please I need an advice on this cause it’s really eating me up.
NB: I don’t want my parents to find out until I’m done with the work and ready to establish it. If they find out, they will be heart broken. Our parents don’t let us choose our dreams anymore, rather they just want you to go to school just to bear graduate with a work.

First I want you to know that what you desire is not a wrong thing at all.... You want to chart your own path in life and that's a good thing to do.... You're lucky you found your own passion early enough.....and that's good...now...this is what you need to do...

Write to your University registrar...and another copy to your DVC academics as well as the Dean of student affairs... all through your HOD. telling them to grant you to be granted permission to be away from the University for a session. Reason being that you're having pyschological challenges annd because you don't want it to negatively impact your grades...you want to be excused for this session.

You will need to have paid and fully registered for the session though.... Also discuss with your level registration officer.... But don't mention and intention to pursue photography...or they'll not take you serious... just tell them you're having mental challenges and would like the session or at least the semester off to go deal with the emotional issues you're going through.

You can be sure they will accept that....

Once approved...you can then go fully into your desired training.... make sure you're serious about it... also make sure you're saving...by the time your studio is well setup and established...you can decide if you want to resume back to your current course of study... although I think you should then just enroll for a course that is in line with your practice... maybe something along the likes of Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Marketing, Fine and creative Arts or even mass communication.
Safe journey
May God help you achieve your aim
