People who earned more than you have left for Canada. if its PR just go after 3 years you will become a citizen you can come back to Nigeria if you want. If you qualify for a job paying 1m, with Canadian experience if you chose to go back to Nigeria you don become expat be that. Be wise.

Hypothetically, if you took the job, saved to go to Canada, and bought investment real estate to rent out in Canada, you could return home and earn way more than a million passively.

You right .. no where is soft... Even here in the US... People struggling alot... Lots of people have messup their credits with UN repay loans...

There are multiple jobs but house, food and bills are on the high side ..so some jobs wages can't even cover anything

But it's great to try and have ur kids here... Atleast they won't struggle in life to balance

With the comfort such an offer will give him in Nigeria, there's no guarantee he will get an equivalent in Canada.

A Canadian experience also doesn't make him an expat in Nigeria in the future. I've worked with expats from different countries and we've had to send some packing.

People relocate for different reasons, some after relocating have regretted and struggled. For others it has been the best decision they've made in their life. What I tell everyone is your success in life is not tied to where you live but take good advantage of an opportunity when you see one.

The thread is about abandoning your million+ income in Nigeria and relocating to Canada not sending your kids abroad.

The celebs you mentioned sent their children abroad either for schooling or otherwise and also travels overseas occasionally on vacation(not relocation). They never abandoned their multi-million naira income generating careers they have in Nigeria. There is a difference.

Op is also free to send his kid abroad, if he has one. But that's not the topic.

Definitely Nigeria, who tell you say Canada people aren't suffering there. Use your sense don't make a mistake you'll later regret in life. Is there any good job in Canada.

So those of us that are earning less than 1million are now free to travel.
