Nevertheless, Juan Ignacio Gallardo, director of newspaper 'Marca', quickly came out to deny that it had anything to do with Messi returning to Barca. It was simply a dinner that the group of friends had been planning.

Xavi also celebrates his 42nd birthday this Tuesday and it could be the perfect excuse for the meeting. Social media took little time in spreading the news and dreaming about Messi possibly returning to the Camp Nou now Xavi is the coach.
