Tambuwal on assumption of office as governor of Sokoto State declared **State of Emergency** in education. Through the acts of the Legislation procured a Bill “Right to Education Bill”. Bill for Free and Compulsory Education for all Children between the ages of 6 - 18 years, in all the Govt Schools. In Sokoto, it’s now a Criminal Offence to stop any child from going to School.
Know this, to Gov Tambuwal; he believes and understands like a liberal Nigerian Northerner: That to advance a society and sustain peace, an educated citizenry is imperative; The liberating force embedded in education and its centrality in the progress and development of a society cannot be over emphasised.

As a Visionary leader he has positioned the children of Sokoto for the future. The larger Nigerian Children/Nation needs to be properly positioned for the future.
