Either way, we will still have to pay a price until the FG does the right thing by rehabilitating the refineries...which was contained as a priority in their manifesto!
If this administration had repaired and modified these refineries earlier, by now we would be talking about building more refineries to compliment what we already have!

The reason why they wanted to remove the subsidy by June was because someone refineries will be operational by September

Re: Fuel Subsidy: Nigeria Will Pay A Price, Borrowings May Continue – Femi Adesina by Nobody: 5:56pm On Jan 27, 2022
Yuck, I have to agree with Master Adeshina

The harsh truth is that subsidy costs always increase, no matter how hard you try to keep them down. We tried in the past, and wrecked our refineries to do so....and it failed, and left us a net importer of PMS.

Removing subsidy would mean that the money would be saved.

We are about to throw away three trillion in the name of cheap fuel. Nice work, APC.

Imagine the Presidency threatening already impoverished Nigerians with more borrowings as the price we have to pay when the whole essence of creed and doctrines of the government is anchored on borrowing .

The only price Nigerians have been paying since Buhari came to power is that of lies, cluelessness and deceits!

We know who said "There's nothing like subsidy" cool

He no lie na.
The money used for subsidy minus the corruption can be used to improve other sectors of the economy but since una want cheap fuel.

Ready to sacrifice something

Nigeria's problem is ethnic.

If this happened in 2011-14, this thread will be hitting 24 pages by now and our hypocritical brothers from the south will be claiming something else.

Where is there so called "just anger" ? What happened to there so called quest for good governance ?

Anyway, the only justification for this government or any other coming government to remove fuel subsidy is

1) allow states and private bodies to build power plants, generate ,transmit and sell directly to customers-no more rubbish of transmission to national grid.

2) increase minimum wage relative to actual economic realities or,put our politicians on a civil service Level payroll.

3) Allow states access to develop resources within its borders .

Nonsense wake up from your utopia, it is always greener on the other side, you can’t give what you don’t have.

What is Government? Federal, State & Local Government? Or to the legions of Mumurist, it is only Federal that is government to them?
