I am keen on job opportunities while my spouse is studying. Actually, I don't think YouTube videos will be so helpful for me in this regard. We all know how such city will look like. I will prefer advice from someone who is on ground or in BC. Thanks for your input btw. mrprolifik: |

(Sterling and FCMB) Thanks. Also, would it be advisable to use the old ircc portal since it has a limit of 4mb and delete my account from the new portal or has anyone chipped other documents on the consent icon column and gave reasons for it and granted visa PrinceAdeAde: |

Hello everyone, I’m really excited to be in this platform. I just got my official Letter Of Acceptance for TRU and will proceed to my visa processing. I’m doing this myself so I want to ask of the minimum amount in naira I can present in the sponsor’s account and the sponsor being my in-law (sister’s husband). Is the relationship ties strong enough? Also, any advices on how to start the visa application and anything necessary never to skip? The tuition for one year is 18,000 CAD aside housing and living expenses. It’s a 2 years Post Bacc program. I’m single and will be applying for myself only. Will appreciate answers |

mikelchino: Okay bro, I can understand this because I’ve been there and most of these professors won’t reply you or they’ll reply saying there’s no vacancy for new students. Now you can check out their research topics and mail them, talk briefly on their research topics and tell them how you really want to help in their research and them helping you achieve that too. You can also include your own research interests still within the field of their research topics. Just go straight to the point and not a long mail. Good luck!! 1 Like |

Emmafe: Well I think it was 3-4 weeks for the conditional letter of acceptance. Took 24 hours after tuition deposit confirmation to get the main Letter of Acceptance. 1 Like |

In addition to what has been advised, try to read one of the recent papers of the professor you are interested in, and make reference to the paper. You can get an idea of future works in the paper. This gives the impression that you can understand a research paper and that you are not just emailing profs randomly. You can also send me a sample of your email. I can review it and offer guidance (for free). mikelchino: 1 Like |

For upfront medicals you must book an appointment date. They will attend to you if you get medicals request by IRCC. But you can try walking in as everyone has different levels of grace... JOSHCANADA: |
