Landing gist
I used Ethiopian airways on arrival at the airport in Abuja I was asked for my ticket print out my arrive can and Covid test with my passport. After that I went to get checked in, my bags were a little over weigh so I paid 50 dollars, then I got checked in normals.
Got to Ethiopia my layover was just 1hr not much but the security checks were a lot had to keep removing my shoe Mtchewww.
Then got into the plane and started a really long trip of 16hrs I almost ran mad
Finally reach Toronto went through one self declaration stuff just declare what you have scan passport answer some questions finish get your print out and head to one of the officials.
The official will ask what you have tell her she’ll write it down then you move on to study permit, now I’m upset about this part I had a list of the requirements made stupid copies guess what they only asked for the correspondence letter gave me my study permit and I was off to get my box, they didn’t waste my time at all . Got my box went to get tested for Covid then I was done
I now had an 8hr layover to my final destination I was hungry and tired
Got to Thunder Bay ah the cold is on press up oh it’s intense, cab services rubbish I sha got to my residence we thank God

Regrets
I wish I carried palm oil �� and more Yaji
I didn’t carry my cloths cause of excess luggage I’m really sad about it
The so called long layover wasn’t soo necessary I wish I used another airline the flight was too long

Pros
.I bought a lot of winter cloths if I didn’t I would have died
.I carried Indomie it saved my life

Cons
.Everything is just expensive food,cab but that one is there business they can’t discourage me oh
.If you have other options use another airline

Hello sis, I read on some other thread where u said u used an agent, pls I'll like to know the name of the agent and how much they charged u. Work wahala wouldn't give me the time to do all of these running.
Possibly their contact so I could give them a call.

Hello everyone

I’ve been a silent reader on this forum for months now. I submitted my study permit application since May last year and I’ve been waiting on IRCC for a reply since and i just got a message from them today.

So it turned out i got procedural fairness letter this morning and i was told I submitted a fraudulent statement of account. I used my mum’s account statement which had over thirty nine million as in flow and forty one million as out follow but had a balance of three million because she had just recently purchased goods at the time. During when i wanted to submit the application, NYSC had just posted me and i needed to go to camp so my friend connected me with an agent who i sent all my documents to and paid him to help me submit the application because I didn’t want to wait till after camp before submitting so that my processing time would start counting. While in camp i was having network issues so I really couldn’t use my phone, when i was finally out of camp i saw messages from the agent telling me he had submitted but he had to improvise because my balance was low. I called him immediately and he said he edited the bank statement and increased the balance, i was really furious because i had seen on this platform people’s visa being approved with less balance, but the deed had already been done all i could do was cut ties with the agent after that.

Now i have 15 days to reply IRCC with a new statement of account and also I’m to attach a letter of explanation explaining the falsified document, please gurus in the house I’ll need help in writing the LOE and also I will appreciate any advice from the house on how to go about this

I'm about to embark on my master's studies in Canada and my husband stands as my sponsor.


He will be paying for the whole four semester tuition fees. And he will also send the 10,000cad yearly expenses to my account .

With this. Do I still need to have a sponsor or submit any sponsor statement of account.

You may not like my reply to this though, but what I will say is the absolute truth..

Its unfortunate you gave your application to an agent that is not too knowledgeable with this Canadian study permit process, cos like you said, few have gotten their PPR with lower closing balance.. Now the agent went to tamper with your statement of account, thereby making it fake..

And you confirmed in your write up that the agent submitted a fake SOA, even if you employ an immigration lawyer, you will still end up
with a BAN, cos you don't have evidence to show that the SOA is a genuine account..

Now you will get a BAN, and the agent's business will continue.. This is why we preach to you applicants against the use of these agents that are just after your money and nothing more....

If the SOA was genuine, then you would have had a case....

The agent obviously does not have the in-depth knowledge of how Visa Officers see SOA, cos if he knew, he wont have spit out that rubbish from his mouth.. If only he knew Visa officers are not only concerned about the closing balance but also the inflow and outflow of the account, how active the account is.. I have personally worked with an applicant who paid full school fees with an inflow of 120Million and a closing balance of 1.5 Million and still got Visa.. Your agent really messed things up for you.... Its well


You can still do your best to reply though, and be truthful with them as regards your situation..

The deed has been done already... But be prayerful not to receive a BAN.

The moment he told you he tampered with the account statement, you should have either withdrawn your application or sent a new SOA through webform and write a LOE that you notice your agent tampered with the information you gave him.

Now that you've received a procedural fairness, I'll advise you to be straight forward but with caution. Your LOE should address it that you gave your file to an agent to do your application for you, but don't say it directly that he told you he tampered with the SOA. Because it'll look like why did you continue with the application when you knew.
So, let them know you are not in charge of the application and you couldn't locate the agent since he said he submitted your application. You've been in the dark without any information from him. Try to be convincing as possible and don't give too much story that doesn't add up, so as not to complicate the issue Attach a new statement of account and if possible use MBS. Just try to convince them you'll be in charge of your application henceforth.
