Atiku already has a structure no PDP Gov has. All the meetings they have been holding is to stop Atiku. The SS & SW-PDP will likely not vote an Obi but if Atiku can openly back him he will get the North, some SS States plus SE.

Nigerians will always cast their votes base on sentiment, tribalism and religion but in terms of what he achieve in Anambra state:

Obi led the foundation of the current Anambra we have today.

Anambra is among the 5 states in Nigeria that can single-handedly take care of their budget as listed by the federal government.

Anambra is the best in the South East in terms of economy and other variables.

Anambra state built most of the amenities in Anambra such as Anambra international airport, Ojukwu Teaching Hospital etc.

Sentiment is the sole reason why someone would say or believe that Obi did nothing in Anambra.

NB. I'm not from Anambra but i speak base on what is on ground, thank you.

My brother,you are missing something.there is absolutely nothing atiku can do now unlike 2019 primaries.the PDP Governors have totally seized control of the party and it is certain that one of the Governors will fly their ticket. Majority of those delegates are controlled by the Governors and in states where PDP don't have Governors, someone who is loyal to a Governor is in charge. Apart from Adamawa, Gombe, Kebbi, Katsina, Plateau etc, I don't see where else atiku will get delegates. What played out in the National Convention will still play out in the main Congress. Even in the East, apart from Anambra, no other state will vote him.

What killed Tambuwal in 2019 was the overbearing attitude of Wike and a lot of Governors were against him. But now,all those PDP Governors are in sync and working together. You can see how Wike himself is consulting them every now and then...

You must have something before you get the ticket of the Party, especially when you are in opposition. Before Buhari joined APC he had guaranteed 10million votes. Atiku had guaranteed millions of votes before even the PDP ticket.

These two didn't get the tickets of their Party before forming structures. They had their structures intact.....
