International students are allowed to work in China now, this wasn’t the case before now, as foreign students have always been banned from working. But as of today the ban hasn’t been lifted officially and they are now allowed to work :Not more 8hours per week & 40hours per month.

During Winter & Summer vacation: work hours not more than 16hours per week & 80hours per month.

they just started allowing students to work now, we don’t know yet, if they allow you stay back and work, but I know students who has been here for more than 7yearz, converting student visa to work visa is not really that easy also, plus if you get some certifications after your studies, and you can get a job which is mostly teaching, they can easily help you convert your visa...

Okay, but why would you want to be in China? Human rights basically don't exist there nor does the possibility of a foreigner getting citizenship or a green card. They, like all Asians (west, south, east), are notoriously racist. It's not just an attitude, your safety is compromised.

And there's nothing especially competitive about the education you get there. You have plenty of affordable, competitive education options in Europe and North America. No need to put yourself in such a terrible place.
