You are correct about long distance relationships, but the problem with Canada or generally abroad is that it is hard for you to find guys/ladies that you like who are also interested in you in your vicinity, you might be forced to always go out of it. Like 2 people can be living in Toronto but from east to west might like 1:30 minutes or 2 Hours journey with train, It is not like Lagos or Abuja where it is very small, especially if there is no traffic. So most relationship na LDRs already. But I get you, your points are valid too.
